So, Here is ma birthday celebration, we decided to go Bubba Gump at Sunway Pyramid, You Know what??? I just love Bubba Gump’s logo - cutie shrimp lolz & I Love Shrimp. Bubba Gump restaurant is inspired by the 1994 movie “Forrest Gump” which offers feel down-home American southern charm and amusing dining experience. Having vague memory of this movie, I till now only remember the most famous quote of this movie being “my mama always say that Life is like a box of chocolate. You never know what you’re gonna get”. Yes, I agree that this is how we should face life, always so full of surprises, and to take things as it comes.

 After parking the, it was a little bit of a journey to Bubba Gump but only because we walked through the mall. We were greeted immediately by a hostess outside of the restaurant and were seated in a booth. I loved the cute Forrest Gump decorations around the restaurant. It really stayed true to the movie. They have quotes from the movie Forrest Gump and souvenirs with Forrest Gump quotes.  There were even occasional trivia questions being thrown out to some of the customers. Whoever wins gets a prize! I think it’s a t-shirt, if I’m not wrong.

Our server from beginning to start was very friendly and attentive. She also explained the whole “Forest Gump” theme and the sign that we flip if we need service. Basically if you don’t need anything, it says “Run, Forrest, Run.” If you need something, just flip over the license plate that says “Stop, Forrest, Stop” and your server will stop. The crew at Bubba Gump has proven that it works, as within secs of flipping to STOP, we are being attended to. *<>*

We started with the Cajun shrimp appetizer which reminded us Boiling Crab shrimp without as much sauce and spice. I liked that it came with garlic bread that you could dip in the spicy sauce, Any how the food was fantastic They have a late happy hour, We ended up staying much longer than we had originally thought we would. We really had a great time.

Such a great overall experience we will definitely be back to this one when we head back down to Sunway. Hands down the best Bubba Gump’s that we have ever gone to. Definitely put a better taste in our mouth about this chain. :) lolz overall  I really had a beautiful  Birthday celebration
